Ron gained his Bronze Medallion in 1934 and represented our club in all disciplines of competition. He remained a stalwart of our club for his whole life. Ron was very active in providing water safety and swimming instruction to countless numbers of Penguin community members with his ‘unofficial’ but very effective patrolling of Johnson’s Beach for many years.
