Tom gained his Bronze Medallion in 1958 and has been a staunch member ever since. He was a very strong swimming competitor and represented our club with distinction. Despite having held many ‘hands on’ positions of responsibility in the club, Tom will no doubt be remembered for the support and dedication he afforded our junior club members. Being the mentor and coach of a lot of fine surf sports competitors over many years, his training program and group became affectionately known as Tom’s Terriers.
